Whos it for?
Fundamentally this course is designed for paddlers and coaches irrespective of their chosen craft.The objective is to teach simple and safe skills that can be applied appropriatley.Participants should ideally hold the 2 star award or at the very least be paddling to this standard.
Whats included?
This courses aims to provide the participant with the key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely and to be able to deal with common emergencies.
Equipment: By now you probably have your own equipment however if you are short of anything equipment is available for hire please contact in advance.
Where’s it at?
The course will be based on shelterd inland water. Typically a small lake or reservoir.
When is it?
These courses run regularly throughout the year. To find out availability or to request a date for your group please contact us.
How many people and how much is it?
Minimum 4 people per group. Maximum 8 people per group. £60 per head per day plus any BCU fees.(accomodation not provided). If you have a larger group please contact us to discuss your requirements as we can run multi group days. If you don’t have 4 people don’t worry. We will try to link you up with others and hey presto you even get your first paddling buddies.
