Whos it for?
An improvement award that helps paddlers develop fundamental paddlesport skills on flat water. The emphasis is on gaining a breadth of experience, creating the desired movement of the boat and developing an understanding into how the paddle, boat and water interact. Ideally suited to anyone who has done the 1 star or has previous paddling experience and wants a recognised level of competence and a structure for progression into paddlesport.
What’s included?
The course will include: equipment choice and selection , basic boat control and fundamental paddling skills.
All paddling and safety equipment provided.
Where’s it at?
The course will be based on shelterd inland water in North Yorkshire. Typically a small lake or reservoir.
When is it?
These courses run regularly throughout the year. To find out availability or to request a date for your group please contact us.
How many people and how much is it?
Minimum 4 people per group. Maximum 8 people per group. £90 per head per 2 day course(accomodation not provided). If you have a larger group please contact us to discuss your requirements as we can run multi group days. If you don’t have 4 people don’t worry. We will try to link you up with others and hey presto you even get your first paddling buddies.
