Our scrambling courses are the perfect way to see parts of the mountains you may normally never get to. You will also learn the skills to go off and have many more scrambling adventures of your own. As with all Intrepid courses you will be guided by one of our experienced leaders whose aim is for you to develop the skills needed to go it alone.
Who’s it for?
This course is suited to seasoned hill walkers who want to take the next step and experience even more of an adventure and learn the skills of a scrambler.
What’s included?
The course will include: basic skills, route choice and decision making, using a confidence rope, equipment for harder scrambles, knots, belaying. All climbing equipment is provided.
Where’s it at?
The course can be based in any of the mountain regions of the UK. Ideal locations are Snowdonia and the Lake District.
When is it?
These courses run regularly throughout the year. To find out availability or to request a date for your group please contact us.
How many people and how much is it?
Minimum 2 people per group. Maximum 4 people per group. £100 per head per day or make a weekend of it for just £180 per head (accommodation not provided). If you have a larger group please contact us to discuss your requirements as we can run multi group days. If you don’t have 4 people don’t worry. We will try to link you up with others and hey presto you even get your first scrambling buddies.
