Designed for the summer hill goer who wants to experience the beauty of the winter hills.
What’s included?
This course will give you the knowledge and skills needed for winter hill walking. Topics covered will include weather forecast interpretation, avalanche awareness, winter equipment, winter navigation and skills to deal with snow and ice. We can provide some equipment also participants will be able to hire any specialised equipment from local hire shops at the venue.
